Let’s dive into the world of skin flooding!

Skin flooding is a technique that I personally love and want to shout about! Skin flooding involves layering multiple skincare products onto damp skin to lock in moisture, resulting in smoother skin.

July 2024

By using serums, we flood the skin with hydration, improve product absorption and protect the skin barrier.

The benefits of skin flooding gives  a hydrated glow & a plumping effect that can make your makeup look flawless, like a natural filter. Who doesn't want that right?!

To practice skin flooding, you only need to follow 4 steps. First, cleanse your skin thoroughly to remove sweat, oil and buildup. This step is crucial as it sets the foundation for the rest of the process & ensures maximum product absorption.

Next, spritz on a mist to dampen your skin. This step creates the perfect canvas.

Now comes the fun part …applying serums. Choose serums that are suitable for your skin type/concerns. Generally, hyaluronic acid serums with peptides orhumectants are ideal.

Finally, don't forget to moisturise. This step seals in all the goodness and keeps your skin hydrated throughout the day.

While skin flooding works for all skin types, it’s really beneficial for dry ormenopausal skin. These skin types often need an extra boost of hydration, &skin flooding focuses exactly on that!

So, if you want to achieve smoother, softer & more radiant skin, give skin flooding a try. Your skin will thank you!
