Calling all parents and Tweens about skin care

Have you noticed that more children are into skincare? It seems their access to social media content has sparked a newfound curiosity in getting glowing skin.

March 2025

But what exactly is a Sephora tween? Well, it's the latest trend where young ones are diving headfirst into the world of skincare. They're exploring different products, trying out new routines, and even convincing their parents to buy them skincare. It's the "cool" thing to do!

I advise for all the Sephora tweens out there: keep it clean & simple! ✨ Opt for a gentle cleanser to wash away the day's impurities, replace moisture with a hydrating moisturiser, and protect your skin from harmful UV damage with sunscreen. It's as easy as that!

But just like with adults, skincare needs can vary for tweens too. Some may struggle with acne or hormonal changes, and that's where a personalised approach comes in. For those facing breakouts, a cleanser with salicylic acid or a topical product containing a retinoid can work wonders. However, it's crucial to seek advice from a skincare professional to ensure safe use.

I understand that an interest in skincare isn't concerning; in fact, it's an excellent opportunity to build healthy skincare habits. Education is key, especially when it comes to sun damage. So let's encourage sunscreen use & protect our skin from harmful rays!

I get many questions from mums asking how they can help their tweens on this skincare journey. That's why we're offering a masterclass for tweens, where they can learn about skincare success and what they should be doing to take care of their skin.
